I am a consumer who wants to be able to buy green electronic products.
1. MAKE IT SAFE. Design out the toxic chemicals, and design in recyclable materials, so you can recycle your old products into new ones
2. MAKE IT LAST. Products should last longer and be upgradeable - even when the operating software changes
3. TAKE IT BACK. Products should be made by working with recyclers who are certified to the e-Stewards standards, who won’t simply export e-waste to developing nations.
